Individual Lessons
Individual lessons include hands-on work, observation and discussion. The teacher will guide you through various activities, like going from standing to sitting, by encouraging you with her hands and verbal cues. You will be asked to notice your reactions and observe differences. At times there is lively discussion about the process, at other times the experience speaks for itself.
Lessons also include practice while lying on a massage table where we continue to explore the principles of the Alexander Technique. Table work releases tension and generally feels great.
As your knowledge increases lessons can be geared to any activity, from sports to singing to playing a musical instrument.
Paired Lessons
Paired lessons are when 2 people share a lesson. The teacher works with each person individually while the other person observes or works on her own. Much can be learned through observing the process in others. This is a great way for friends or couples to take lessons.
